Cost of attending a game in Vegas will be astronomical with room rates , food etc going up every year. Baseball will not translate well. The Raiders pull 40 to 50 % of their attendance outside of Nevada but they have fans in No and So.Cal. The A's.....not so much

I grew up in San Jose and had family in Oakland so I have my own separate issues with how everything went down regarding the A's. If people want to go to the A's game with the understanding they ain't getting an MLB team out of this that's on them how they want to spend their money.

She doesn't care anymore as she is too busy complaining about the commoners messing up Marin.

When the A's are outcof town it can be used to store tools and equipment from the casinos

His main goal was to get out of Oakland and everything is was trivial details. The fact that either LV and Manfred was there to enable his stupidity should also be pillioried.

Only the best from a John Fisher run team. The proposed stadium in Vegas will end up being a prefab from Lowes

Knew this was going to happen the moment the plan to move was announced 2 years ago so I went through the sadness and anger phase then . Now it's just disgust

A lot of the narrative regarding Mays changed in the later years when a lot of the writers that used to cover him retired or were no longer around. Most of what was written later was more of a fanboy perspective.

Parking is going to be fun. Then again the proposed stadium is Vegas will hardly have any parking either so tailgating will soon be a thing of the past.

I live near Sacramento and have seen parents drop their children off at school in a Tesla and then 5 min later they are shopping at Dollar General.

Someday there will need to be a book written about the last 20 year odyssey of the A's. Wish there was a Freedom of Information that could be used to find out what was really happend in all those meetings about who was approved to buy the club and the territorial rights.

Selig only wanted to approve owners that were not interested in staying in Oakland. Giants also played a role since their relationship with Dodgers is sacrosanct

Canada had 2 great sets of OFers in the 80s with Cromartie, Dawson and Valentine to be followed by Bell, Moseby and Barfield

Gotcha. I was thinking that was a bit odd since they haven't released the final designs yet and now with Tariffs that means the cost goes up again

Saw someone post that the A's are offering Vegas fans a chance to get in line for season tickets for $19.01 later this week.

I still have the Sports Illustrated issue that covered that series which stuck out in my mind because whomever the writer was made it a point to reference in his description of game 3 that SF State's own Nina Hartley was in attendance

I was at that game. Thought we were home free in the 9th and started leaving when Alomar hit the hr.

I went to opening night and was completely unimpressed by that roster.

They also planned to have Vegas filled with at least 30 percent tourists. Good luck with that.

Anyway this is like their 4th or 5th set of plans. By the time something gets built who knows what the final product will look like
