Pixelfed took several days to process my 165 Instagram posts and ended up importing just 4 of them. No information what's wrong with the other 161 and apparently no way of retrying (??), so I'm gonna give up on Pixelfed and hope that Flashes will be better :-(

Twitter is now an American right wing disinformation machine interfering in global politics. Your participation in it, is collaboration and nothing less.

Very strange energy from people who quoteskeet your posts and don’t add anything instead of just hitting the repost button. More and more people are doing this. I don’t like it. It’s unsettling.

Quick update on my quest to understand the origins of thought balloons. Based on simonw.bsky.social 's suggestion, I started looking at Wash Tubbs more closely and came across this, so far earliest, use of text-based thought balloons from 1926. (1/4)

This is all the more infuriating when you consider that Musk himself immigrated illegally (through overstaying a student visa), so this has nothing whatsoever to do with legality and everything to do with racism, hatred of the poor, and wanton cruelty.

This is so beyond evil that I don’t even have the words

We love having extralegal power structures at the highest levels of government don't we folks

don’t know if this a real account or not but it’s tweeting like it is and i think it would be great if we made @doge-reporting.bsky.social the most blocked account on here

Remember when we were like “Biden ban Trump from office” and “Biden fire dejoy” and “Biden expand the courts” etc and a bunch of liberals were like “HE CANT BC RULES” yeah just thinkin about that while planes crash every day bc a guy who isn’t even president just kinda felt like “disrupting” the FAA

Republicans are gonna split Presidents' Day into two separate holidays again for Presidents Trump and Musk
