The US government did not do as good a job w/COVID as Canada. With similar demographics, Canada had 40% FEWER COVID deaths relative to population. We should have studied what Canada did to see how we could improve. Had we had Canada’s death rate, half a million more Americans would have survived.

Altho TBH, having lived in NYC in the 90s, I had the lowest possible opinion of Trump’s values and ethics. And good knowledge of his lying, cheating, fraud and propensity to seek out the worst people. But even I have been surprised.

When she wad a Florida official, Bondi dropped state charges against Trump University. And Bondi received a campaign donation from Trump. You do the math.

Musk’s posse are probably individuals who have never even kept a checkbook, much less looked at accounts. No way they can identify fraud. So what are they doing?

If more government could work like this, we’d have many fewer disgruntled voters making bad choices to get “the trains to rin on time.”

Why aren’t media people as diligent in calling out LYING?
comment in response to

I wish the media was half as diligent calling out LYING as they are in criticizing lack of “decorum” and “bipartisanship.”

I sadly have no sympathy for McConnell on this “deathbed” conversion. He did nothing so his wife’s family could benefit from her appt as Sec Transportation.

The US did the same in Japan. England ostracized Harris and his fliers after the war (unfairly, imho). In the US, we ran Curtis LeMay for vice president.
