Started re-watching the 2010 Three Kingdoms series. Immediately remembered how much I love Chen Jianbin's portrayal of Cao Cao. It's brilliant.

4.5 TRILLION in tax cuts. Another 2 trillion in spending cuts, with the areas of spending being cut *checks notes* Healthcare, SNAP, and the infrastructure. Cool cool, this will definitely make America great. Oh, and more defense spending. Just what we need. apnews.com/article/hous...

Anyone remember the joke format where you say a family enters a talent show, and then you describe the most atrocious, disgusting, taboo-filled acts you can think of, and then the punchline is, "The Aristocrats!" I finally understand the joke.

WSJ sub: “Indian Partition went smoothly enough, right? Will try to remember to check this before publishing.”

I'm working all day, so saying I'm protesting the Super Bowl feels disingenuous. I think I need to full-on protest the NFL. Kowtowing to the orange anal polyp and erasing their anti-racism message was the last of a ridiculous number of straws. I honestly should've stopped watching ages ago.

Silicon Valley be all like "You didn't want to buy our monkey jpgs and conduct meetings with VR headsets, I guess we have no choice but to start WW3"

I think the thing that pisses me off the most about the "controversy" surrounding Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is that a bunch of Mediocre White Men are seriously trying to say that Tati Gabrielle is ugly. Just admit you don't like black women, bro, we already knew you were racist.

I want to write a murder mystery set in the Star Wars universe in which the murderer is revealed to be a gonk droid that kills people by falling on them. All I'm missing is a motive... and the mental health required to actually motivate myself to write.

attempting to describe the vibes of the moment. have yet to do better than: "imagine watching a documentary reenacting the burning of the Library of Alexandria set to the soundtrack of 'Yakety Sax'"

Just heard the silliest interaction in Dynasty Warriors: Origins. Soldier 1: I just met Huang Gai outside of the city. Do you think it would be OK to tell people? Soldier 2: I don't know, you're asking the <italics> Huang Gai </i>!

Dynasty Warriors: Origins succeeded in making Lu Bu terrifying again. The first time you encounter him, it almost feels like a different game - like being pursued by death itself. It really cranked the anxiety to 10 and made the whole level feel like a horror game.
