That makes me feel sick. And he was calling for a third term for Trump already. That's dictator speak right there.

Love this. Well done team. A really valuable story to tell all the nay sayers.

Great resource. I'm curious to know why the ECO4 grant isn't mentioned in the 'costs and grants' section?

Kia Niro has been great. You can grab one with 3 year warranty remaining for under 14k. Alternatively as a family car Skoda enyaq is starting to come into the second hand market circa 18k

In AA it'll get to target temp and then turn off for a couple of hours. The question is - which is preferable? Higher constant power than for long periods with no cycling or a continuously lower power but with moderate / low frequency cycling? @openenergymon.bsky.social @timbones.bsky.social

I admire your confidence and agree they are a better solution. Sadly, in cash terms I don't think the average consumer sees them as a better purchase. Without the incentive of lower electricity prices the benefits aren't significant enough to convince most people who need to replace an aging boiler

I've never tried Agile but in December Tomato lifestyle saved me £75 compared to Intelligent Go. (Don't have annual figures yet).
They have a lovely cosy style half rate period in the day plus 5p overnight for 6 hours. Initially hesitant to switch but now I'm impressed.... HP, EV, solar +battery

I've been with them for 3 months now. My average cost per kwh has dropped from 15p to 9.5p. I have a heat pump now + am EV so my usage is quite high but I think I saved £75 in December by switching. My bill was just over half what it would have been with Octopus.

I installed the monitor with the installation in June but didn't get it up and running until October. That said, the colder weather brings far more usable data with which to set up the optimum operating parameters.
I'm pretty happy with its performance so far... emoncms.org/app/view?nam...
