I mean, nothing is ever perfect. Between censorship, racism, and transphobia, the problems aren't that different - if less intense - than other sites. I still prefer it because it has no algorithm. I only see what I want to see, and it's easy to block what I *don't* want to see.

Honestly and truly, Tumblr, while a weird little social media site, has the greatest ability to connect you to things you like, including books to read. I've gotten amazing recommendations for music, for books, for shows, and for movies on Tumblr.
