I’m an enjoyer of video games(mainly retro), anime, music and art in general. I like to keep things positive and keep arguments to a minimum.

One of the greatest rpgs I’ve ever played and it’s only 15-20 hours. Have yet to come across another rpg that plays like it.

Congrats! Welcome to the team.

The ps1 has many great games but my heart goes out to the Saturn. It has a great mix of simple fun games and games that were pushing genres into uncharted territory. Also the Saturn community had never been better. People creating translations and emulators and helping newcomers with any problems.

Yep, although I don’t see any of hsien-ko noodle stoppers on eBay or mercari but there are ones for other darkstalker characters.

It’s a noodle stopper figure, if you ever think about getting it.

I can only how scary it would be driving at a 45 degree angle in San Francisco while it’s raining.

Is it true when it rains in California most people forget how to drive on wet roads?

Nintendo choosing to call it the switch 2 is so funny to me. I really thought they were gonna call it something like “ The Switch (insert subtitle) .

Well there’s nothing stopping you from celebrating it on the 25 too.

Love your art of Naga, feel like she doesn’t get enough attention.

Ah what a great game. It’s a real shame it’s not given more attention. It’s a real technical marvel given this was made off of the half-life 1 engine by a handful of people.

Alright then, take a picture of you holding a corn cob.

That would be cool

Just know that North American versions were renamed to jet grind radio. I think it was to avoid potential legal problems.

You may already be aware of some of these, but there’s jetset radio, crazy taxi, power stone is a great 3D fighting game, hydro thunder, and there’s shunmue, which I would recommend if you like exploring the different interactions in a small town and not for the story.

Oh Dino crisis is a such a classic. Hope capcom will breathe new life in this old beloved franchise.

May wanna try downloading it from ROMhacking.net and using ePSXe emulator. I’m afraid I won’t be able to tell you more than that as I bought a translated reproduction because I really wanted to play it my ps1 rather than on a computer.

Heya

Oh my mistake I was looking at the wrong thing. Still you’ll have access to thousands of games. It’s far cheaper than paying $300 for something like dragon force.

-what I’ve seen it’s pretty simple, you don’t even need to solder anything.

Well if you ever get around to it, I’d recommend buying a Jp Saturn from a Japanese seller. They often sell them for around or below $100. Then buy a fenrir ode, this will allow you to emulate Saturn games. They tend to go for about $20. You will have to open up the console to install it but from -

Yes specially the English translation version has the twin stick shooting and while it may be a bit costly, I highly recommend getting one for bulk slash. It takes a little getting used to at first but once you do, you never wanna go back to the regular controller.

Top 3 from what I have played would have to be 1. and 2.Either Panzer dragoon saga or Grandia, they’re kinda tied in my opinion and 3. would have to be bulk slash.

That’s great to hear. Hope this new start goes well for you.

(2/2)It was only ever released in Japan, but a couple years ago a fan translation was made. I highly recommend it.

(1/2)Oh actually just thought of another great jrpg that doesn’t get talked about enough. Racing Lagoon is a car rpg or as I like to call it a carpg made by square soft for the ps1 with an amazing art style, music, customization, racing, and very deep story, deeper than your average game goes for-

Would have to be a tie between Grandia and Panzer Dragoon Saga. Easily the best jrpgs I’ve ever played.
