Thank you for your service, agent Kennedy

I stay away from the “for you” feed, which is garbage. Sticking to just the people I’m following helps strain out the trash. But yes, once some people I follow wise up id be more than happy to ditch that place.

Not everyone I follow there has moved here or someplace else yet, and I want to keep following them.

I’d love to, but there are reasons why I still need to. Hopefully at some point.

Hey, so when you guys were hacked over on Twitter a couple weeks ago the dude who hacked you blocked a bunch of people, including me. Should probably look at your block list and remove people who don’t deserve to be there…

I’m going to be honest, I forgot all about that show until I saw you bring it up. That being said, it was…ok.

Hope there is a physical version. And I hope it can use the old version’s save data.

Ok…and? The point was my physical game can’t be taken away from me. Your steam collection is at the mercy of servers and a overseer who could shut them down at anytime for any reason.

Again, I have games from over 20 years ago that still work fine and are no hassle to play. And some that seem to command over 400 bucks on the used game market. So when I speak about this I speak from experience and research.
comment in response to post
In my experience this is not the case. I have discs over 20 years old that I’ve played just this year.
comment in response to post
You can think what you want, but factually the game will have some value and it will be playable to me years in the future. You can’t guarantee any of those things with digital distribution
comment in response to post
I buy them in insure I CAN play them in the future. A digital game can be delisted or taken away, a physical game cannot. A physical game will also always have value, big or small.
comment in response to post
Saying you only own the object that the game is stored on is easily interpreted as we are only buying the ability to play the game, we don’t actually own it, the IP holder does. Which is right, but also in my opinion wrong. I don’t buy physical games just to collect them…
comment in response to post
So….we own a copy of the game but not the IP when we buy the game. Yeah…obviously.

For comparison, the original has sold a little over one million lifetime. The total sales for the franchise before the remake released was around 8.4 million.
