Holy shit. I’m guessing you can’t find a hazard suit at TJ Maxx so she must have been totally unprotected.

Now you will spend the rest of your life obsessed with fixing the error; losing your leg, then your mind, then your life.

Men had to create a whole universe of fictional superheroes because the real ones usually aren’t men.

Two members of the majority were appointed despite credible and un-investigated allegations of sexual
misconduct. The consent of others is not their priority.

I think you’re right. I’m wondering what a constitutional amendment that includes trans discrimination under the umbrella of gender discrimination (where it belongs) would look like. Like what would an ERA that also protects trans people have to look like based on this ruling?

Right? It’s the brazen theft, not the debt that’s the problem

I think it’s just like so many conservative-coded scams like crypto and trickle down economics- it tricks people into believing that what is essentially wealth hoarding is some genius concept above their understanding by using complicated and confusing language.

I do not want to live in a country where my rights seem to be dependent on a child not surviving.

Like isn’t that what we should have? Shouldn’t we always be in debt? Isn’t that how the system was intended to work?

It’s only fair that any money we make that day goes into a reparations fund.

As the ex girlfriend of a shitty guy who is probably turning himself into this guy as we speak, I really hope she starts a go fund me to pay for her divorce and a nice condo in a good school district.

Is it the AI or is it the small child that stole all of the attention he feels entitled to from his wife?
I’m afraid this is very old, very typical behavior just with a new kind of mistress.

I also envisioned this as a product that would probably be more of a deal-sweetener or add-on for a voting systems contract, so we can sneak it in that way.

Good question!
They wouldn’t be- usually it’s local officials making the decisions on what voting equipment is right for their county. For various reasons, its places with more democratic voters that tend to have the long lines. Less funding, more racism, etc.

Plus gender discrimination has always been considered worthy of “intermediate scrutiny,” so I, the dissent, and many others would argue that this ruling goes against years of precedent and violates the court’s own policy of “stare decisis.”

Intermediate scrutiny: does the law further “an important government interest” and is it “substantially related” to achieving that interest?
Rational Basis: is the law “rationally related" to a "legitimate" government interests?
comment in response to
post
There are three tests the Supreme Court has created to determine if a law is constitutional:
Strict scrutiny: does the law serve a “compelling government interest” and is “narrowly tailored” to achieve that interest?
