I go to a Meta platform to see what my friends think about what I hear about on Bluesky. What I GET is 37 groups with names that are identical to the ONE group I do belong to, and those fake groups post a bunch of stolen content.

The Democrats who don't like her are a lot of the working-class Democrats we're supposed to stop alienating. I wish more people on this thread knew what kind of voters elected NYC Mayor Eric Adams. Many of those are the Dems who went for Trump. We can't do anything without them.

The nurse at my dr.'s office (who is terrified of Trump) told me today that her pastor said G-d chose Trump (b/c He is in control). I'm like maybe He did, but sometimes He has a sick sense of humor and isn't necessarily always on what we'd see as our side.

It's a tough one with kids. I'd probably let my kid read Harry Potter too and just tell them it was written by fairies no one knows how it got here there's a crazy woman who pretends she wrote them but that can't be right.

My favorite author who narrates his own audiobooks has been up to some funny business with women who weren't into it and I'm still not sure what I feel or believe. Listening to him tell his stories is such a pleasure. Being forced into sex by your landlord, not so much.
