Wanting it both ways. "Warrington Council needs to sort out its finances" "No, not like that!"

"Warrington Council is a basket case and owes a billion gazillion in debt due to bad management. They need to balance their books! " Warrington Council change parking fees in a couple of carparks. "Not like that!"

It's easy. Strong women, particularly Northern and / or working class women are political kryptonite to right wingers. After a world of pampering and Nannies they don't know whether they're 18 months old and need feeding, or 18 years old and strangely aroused by being turned into subs.

We can but hope. Unfortunately this imported and perverted idea of Free Speech (the abilty to tell outright lies with no consequence) seems to have been adopted wholesale.

Totally agree. If we don't get Leveson 2, then at least mandate that corrections must be in the same typeface, sizes, on the same pages and take up the same column inches they originally took up when published. Tired of lies shouted loud and corrections mewled between the Corby trouser press ads.

Great video as always!

Whilst gauging perception is useful, you're absolutely right that without the data this kind of survey just reinforcements existing biases.

Hi Kevin. Thanks for preserving these. Do you have any tips on how to clean a disk surface / spot signs of damage? I've started collecting BBC Micro games on disk and don't want to clog up my drive heads.

Hmm. It's a bit of a jump from she supports growth to she supports trickle-down economics. That said, some energy in redistributing the pie would be welcome.

Risc OS? I dunno, those fancy GUIs and all that. Back to Wordwise+ on a BBC Micro 😀

I worry more about a moribund economy with blocks to getting the building projects for the 21st century underway. Once parliament gives approval, spades should go in the ground with compensation paid and environemntal mitigations made. Trouble is both projects are decades before any payoff.

And there's always the MC400 if you want a laptop size experience on Psion levels of power 😁
