I feel like the appropriate response for that journalist is "excuse me? I'm not human because I asked a legitimate question? Or is it more that you're a whiney bitch who thinks money absolves you of accountability"

This is more, privileged liberals can show me data that things improved, but I'd rather not question why they didn't improve for me and instead blame Biden. Because the answers to those questions might be uncomfortable.

Corporate ethics policies literally state that you just can't accept gifts over a certain value. The implication is enough. This is insane to me.

RFK Jr: Really just this specific 68+ year old man. I've been mainlining testosterone like it's my job for years. I'm not sure I'm even human anymore.

Honestly, I think people are confusing a generally predictable negative outcome with a very unpredictable specific outcome. Easy to say "this could cause an accident" impossible to predict when, where and who dies and how that will effect the world in that moment

The man is proud he can freely scream racist and misogynist shit without fear or shame because, with the force of government oppression, anyone who might hold him accountable is terrified of being disappeared. He believes this is just, because social pressure is "the same" as government oppression

What clearer picture? That there's no plan? That the permanent, temporary, targeted, broad, glitchy tariffs are a joke?

I think I might argue that their inability to gain traction here speaks to the fact that their message is shit. That's it. People aren't buying what they are selling

Here forced means: indirectly influenced by suggestions made by a minority group who meant to help inclusiveness by introducing the potential for non gendered language... But seriously, the need to feel aggrieved here is ridiculous.

Maybe do both? Honestly it's his strategy. Campaign events where you tell people you'll hold them accountable and TV hits where you say, we'll be too busy repairing the damage. We'll be listening to what the American people want.

We tried the healing unity candidate with Biden and I think it burned us pretty bad. I'm not sure there's space for healing after this. Healing requires Rs to acknowledge their mistakes and take accountability. That's never going to happen.

Due to tariffs, the emoji you are looking for is no longer available.

What kills me is that he didn't make this a secret. Media just didn't take him seriously or run with it. Should have been page one "planned Trump tariffs will destroy economy, Kamala will stay the course" or something all day long

Not to mention Biden did the child tax credit which pulled millions of parents out of poverty. It got killed by Rs, but we apparently memory holed that and voted for the people who made us poorer.

I think the best response I can give is an old saying. It's like cutting off your nose to spite your face. It's a foolish thing to do no matter what anyone says. And he was always clear on what he'd do when elected. When offered the choice between chicken and a shit sandwich, we chose shit.

I've been watching stancil argue with trolls about this for months now. It's hilarious, but also just mind boggling how much people *want* to believe that things were terrible under Biden.
