As a Brit, I must say that the United States has not spoken English for quite some time

So the manufactured blow up with Zelenskyy yesterday was to keep this out of the headlines. It makes sense now.

Good luck. Just read your bio, you sound like one of the good guys. I hope you prevail x

I know what you mean. When we voted for Brexit I felt like someone had died. Just a complete feeling of loss, worry, and not understanding how that many people could be so fucking stupid/xenophobic/deluded. I've just got a horrible feeling that you might have to fight really hard to vote them out.

I really feel for decent Americans, I don't know how you're getting out of bed every day. I'm hoping that this shitshow will kill the extreme right movement stone dead everywhere else though.

Good luck with your raw earth 😄 The poor dear can't remember what President Musk told him.

Just watching the press thing with Zelensky. I'm embarrassed for America. Are these knobs really the best you can do??

We need to rejoin the EU. We're just roadkill otherwise.

Considering he wants to be PM, he can't be arsed showing up at either his constituency or Parliament. Would he show up at No 10?

More worryingly, they are not concerned about consequences further down the line. When Trump said it was the last election, he meant it.

Trump doesn't care how many people are going to die, how the whole of the Middle East will be de-stabilised, how many Americans are going to be put into danger so he can build hotels in Gaza. America is going to complicit in genocide for the sake of amassing more wealth. Your country makes me sick.

Not seeing many votes on here for a tasty Melton Mowbray

WTF! This is getting really scary, really quickly.

So, America is basically a rogue state now, isn't it?

It's more like Grifters United. The fact that it's led by an ex-Ukipper we've never heard of should hopefully condemn this to oblivion.

So he's plotting with an agent of a foreign government who has already stated a desire for the overthrow of the British state. Isn't there a word for this?

Thanks for everything you do, Jess. I don't know how you cope with all the misogynistic bastards, but all decent people are with you. Please keep going, we need you.

Can't help wondering what the UK would be like if Farage had not survived that plane crash all those years ago. But Kuenssberg was a disgrace today.

In my experience the NT does very little in terms of nature conservation. They are more concerned with ramming as many cars as possible into their properties.

I've always thought that about Attenborough. He's had a huge environmental platform since the '80's and only mentioned the climate crisis in the last few years. As far as the BBC were concerned wildlife programmes were just for cute entertainment.

You tend not to trip over cars on the pavement though. I had to tiptoe across Mount Pleasant last week. Wouldn't be so bad if they had to be docked somewhere

Can we just agree that this photo demonstrates what a bad idea those scooter things are?

Potentially linked to this place? It was a Christian centre from the early '60's carberrytower.com/castle/our-h...

Factually inaccurate. There are still reds on Merseyside, and small numbers in Lancashire and Yorkshire. I'm not disputing that they are in great danger of extinction though. A significant amount of conservation funding came from the EU. Another Brexit bonus 😡
