Anything they want, hide it or mislabel it. Anything they plug in, unplug it. Remove light bulbs. Move cubicles around so they hide some of the doors and when they leave the room move them again so they hide different doors. Play really loud music. Think like a cat and sabo tabby yourself a mess

Real cities sprinkle density throughout them to offer access to amenities. They don’t just relegate non-uniplex housing to car sewers. It’s time for Seattle to be a real city.

If you're not in the chamber voting against these freaks you should be in the parking lot vandalizing their cars

“We need Affordable Housing so you should only be allowed to replace a single family home with a fourplex if you lose a bunch of money doing it” is just “we must protect our single family neighborhood character” driving a Prius.

When we refuse to accommodate newcomers in high-opportunity Blue cities, we exile people to red states where their civil rights are endangered or nonexistent. Forcing trans people to live in Texas and Florida because you don’t want to look at apartments is profoundly immoral.

I still have and routinely wear a sweatshirt that I bought *secondhand at Savers* (for $1) in 1997.

I’m a historian of cities. I have read some truly dumb shit. This (the orcas, not you) is amongst the dumbest. Congratulations, Seattle.

Naturally. Why don’t you jerks care about the boomers’ soul health?

The boomer retirees who are currently hoarding land in Seattle are doing more to harm the environment than any other group of Seattle residents. More housing in Seattle means less sprawl and pollution. Anti-housing policies just push people to suburbs; they don't stop people from moving here.

Love to “imagine what is possible beyond the neoliberal nation state” while cashing ed-tech checks & watching an impoverished underclass do all my work
