PSA for Chromecast users: it’s not your Chromecast that’s not working, it’s everyone’s. I wasted a bunch of time this evening before learning this. Do not factory reset your device or you may turn it into a (tiny) brick. If you already did (like me) this article has a fix.

Bit of a thread. I was thinking about the time that one of my kids, when much younger, got really mad and broke a little airplane he had built and painted from a kit. When he got over his rage (which no one remembers what it was about), he was, of course, sad about the broken plane.

Glad to see The Substance get such support for the Oscars. It's not perfect, but it was original and completely bonkers, which are qualities of many movies I've really liked over the past few years (Babylon, EEAAO). Kudos to Demi Moore for going there.
