My university has emailed out guidance on what to do in this situation. It's mostly to not let anyone in anywhere or answer any questions, and wait for university police/the chancellor's office to handle it and offer their protection to those targeted to the extent allowable.

My town has required any single stall restrooms to be gender neutral and now I get so surprised when I go elsewhere - what is even the point of gendered bathrooms in that situation??

A clarification- the medication to cure hep c does exist and it's an antiviral (not gene therapy). They're just citing it as an example of a recent medication that works "too well".

Yes! My 9yo son is so good with little kids and I keep encouraging him to think about being a babysitter in a few years. There's also a glass escalator scenario for men in these roles - advancement can be easier because people want to encourage them/defer to them (e.g., men in nursing)
