Looking for the country I grew up loving. Schnoodle lover, football fan (HTTC), would rather be snowboarding right now. Strong advocate for more dog-related content on BlueSky.

Even if the Dems do threaten to shut down the government, it's a meaningless threat when the administration is actively trying to shut down the government anyway.

Adrian Vermeule and Jeff Clark look eerily similar.

I know the GOP will never go for it, but at least in theory this guy (and Musk) can be impeached, right?

Members of the Pelosi family and members of the media who continue to talk about this damage their own reputations every time they bring this up. FFS move on.

Are you assuming that everyone who responds to you dismissing or critiquing one of your posts assumes you're conservative, or are you saying a lot of people actually accuse you of being a conservative?

Or anyone who ever committed a crime and served their time or received a (hopefully less egregious) pardon for it?

Because it's horrible policy. What happens when a red state does the same for BLM protestors?

They're generally not allowed to sleep in government buildings either

I don't understand why Dems continue to re-elect Schumer as their leader.

You know what else happened in 2020? Joe Rogan got a huge Spotify deal. George Floyd was murdered. Kyle Rittenhouse got propped up by right wing media, and technology algorithms were promoting content to radicalize young men. All of this would have happened with or without Covid.

I suspect this also has to do with South Africa's genocide claim against Israel.

I don't remember the UK threatening to takeover any other countries during Brexit. This will be so much worse. We're not going down without taking a lot of the rest of the world with us.

Some good thoughts but anyone who suggests that DC has any role to play in preventing these crimes does not understand how felonies in DC get prosecuted.

Wikler had big name endorsements because he had relationships with big money donors, but I know multiple people who were on the ground in Wisconsin and tried to volunteer for the campaign but never heard back from anyone. Martin is more focused on actually building an organization to win.

Why not go after Musk under the Emoluments Clause with the same arguments that CREW used against Trump in 2017?

@markwarner.bsky.social @kaine.senate.gov @raskin.house.gov seems like a pretty big security risk particularly for many of your constituents. Why aren't Dems making more noise about this? @aoc.bsky.social @wyden.senate.gov @sanders.senate.gov

Have any Dems even said anything about this?

"Personally Insulting and Professionally Unacceptable" sounds like the title of a memoir written by someone who works in the Trump administration

Horowitz should have been canned under Biden and it's ridiculous that Dems didn't do anything about him for 4 years.

Trump is doing what dumb and unsuccessful owners do after they buy a company. He's like Dan Snyder buying the Redskins not Josh Harris buying the Commanders.

When are lawyers going to set up an anti-hostile work environment snitch line for federal employees and contractors?

They said a lot of dumb and offensive stuff but they seemed open to dialogue. Plenty of Ds are too and plenty of Rs aren't. These guys don't acknowledge that, which is bs, but it's hard to get them to do so or to change their views by refusing to engage and trying to ignore them.

Propaganda or not, Wikipedia appears to be incorrect in this instance. Nowhere in the source cited does Musk deny any meaning to the gesture.
