Yep! I'm gonna do something with it eventually.

Just wait until you're standing in line somewhere and realize you're doing the VRChat idle wiggle.

The irony isn't lost on me. I'm gonna keep pushing them, but it's getting old. Then there's the added mess of trying to get in touch with the psychologist my parents took me to 12 years ago who gave me ADHD meds but no diagnosis so I can figure out wtf that was about.

True, but this page describes creating logic gates and performing complex math using blend trees and animators that control their own parameters. It's like three times the usual jank.

That's what I did for the stringer animation! The ink tank is another float driven by animator state controllers, so it can refill over time. Not bad for a proof of concept, I think!

Nope, nevermind! I got it smooth. Turns out the documentation had the answer after all.

I do have it half-working, I can draw it back and it fires when I let go. And I think I can even set up a system for ink level, so I can only shoot when I have enough. Don't ask me why I'm doing this. I don't know myself.

I wasn't going to bother with switch 2 until I had a good reason to get one, and more splatoon is... well, kinda the only reason I would want one. Alas, a switch 2 costs many dollar, and I have few dollar.

Realism is boring when the art direction is just... realism. But Clair Obscur's art direction is vibrant and fantastical and dark when it needs to be, and that worked for me. There is a tiny bit of unreal-asset-flip-esque jankiness to the game itself, but I ended up finding that charming.

I was lucky enough to get out of college without any debt, or I would be utterly screwed right now. But apparently a 4-year degree and 3 years in a job is worth jack shit.
