Is it because of that, or because he wanted to select the sex? As far as I understand, most if not all, were born male (Vivian transitioned).

Idi Amin apparently called himself King of Scotland. And yes, Queen Janey, RIP.

Speaking of which, why haven't we had any update on that "assassination attempt"?

I keep thinking of Idi Amin.

Is it just me who thinks he might have already had a stroke? The right side of his face seems droopy.

That's the second recent picture I have seen where the right side of his face seems to be drooping. Mini-stroke?

Wow. I have never seen one of them. What a long tail! The body looks about the same size as the grey one, but they have a more extensive vocabulary than the lowly grey one. They also say haa-haa-haa!

No, totally different - lourie or loerie (Afrikaans spelling).

I love birds, but in the wild. I am still amazed when I see/hear a flock of parrots. Birds in Australia are so noisy. Where I come from they tend to be quiet. The noisiest ones I remember were the grey louries, a.k.a "Go-away" birds. Prettier birds were the glossy starling and masked weaver.

There are about eight lorikeets right now, in the date palm outside, eating their evening meal and making a racket while they are doing it. In the mornings they do the same thing in the gum trees, on the other side of my place. When darkness comes, it's the fruit bats making the noise!

I work from home and sometimes I have to close doors and windows because they are so loud and I can't concentrate.

Chimerism is extremely rare and occurs when two fertilized eggs become one body. Similar to how a twin absorbs (kills) its sibling in utero, but it happens right at the start and the two develop as one, i.e. both live and grow together.
