Jesus DePalma directs the hell out of THE UNTOUCHABLES. I've probably seen this film fifty times, but not since I went to college. Revisiting it now and DePalma, Mamet, everyone really understood the assignment here: a romantic shrine, a bracing thriller, a story about male friendship. Fuck.
