As soon as Trump is done with persecuting LGBTIQ etc..., DEI people, immigrants, people of any ethnicity other then caucasians, females, the disabled, the mentally ill, sick people, the elderly, intellectuals, academics, health care workers, the unemployed, veterans (and anyone else I have missed

not what they promise they will do but what they have already done. If they haven't already done it - it is an indicator of what they will not achieve over the next term

What happens when Trump refuses to follow court rulings?

Dutton is as believable as Trump. Pretty sure the average aussie is not as gullible as the average maga.

We used to buy Tassie farmed salmon for ourselves and offcuts for the dog. Then I came across information on line about all the health and environmental problems with salmon farming. Now we buy Burramundi (farmed in Vietnam and available at

My wife and I have kept masking and we have not had a cold, sniffle, cough, or any other infection since covid began. Clearly there are too many people living too close together with not enough ventilation. Making rocks! Even if covid disappeared tomorrow - we would keep masking.

Sigh. If only Insulin dependent Type 2 diabetics could also access them.

Yeah it worked in America. Trump did correctly identify a picture of an elephant. Personally, I believe he cheated.

We did have a couple of short lockdowns in WA. From memory they each lasted for a week to 10 days. We had a great time sitting on our respective verges and chatting to the neighbours (with drinks in our hands).

You can rely on Angus to always get it wrong. A reliable barometer he is.

She can't stand Dutton. Won't vote for Libs (state or federal) whilst he is in the picture.
comment in response to post
That used to be my attitude until a wise person pointed out to me that by not voting, I was the one responsible for whoever came into power (by not voting against them). Now, I vote every election - it isn't that hard.

With an election coming - it is our duty to ensure people don't forget.

That everyone knew. Bit like seeing daily posts saying "is he dead yet"? We all know who "he" is referring to.

Just think... This was built whilst the common people were starving and living hand to mouth. Gotta love the church!

A coward dies a thousand deaths - a brave man (or woman) but one.

Yeah.... I couldn't do it either - even tho it would be for a good cause. There are limits.

If you really want to get rid of Musk - instead of a hate campaign against him - dot he opposite. The more popular he gets, the more jealous Trump will become. Musk might end up going too close to an open window.

Perhaps Putin should be holding free elections (under UN supervision).

Since they merged the Barcelona marathon with the Running of the bulls, many records have fallen.

Let's hope he doesn't find out what it means to be a rape victim.

I would like to see Trump pass an English test. Pretty sure he would fail on a civics test. He is good at identifying pictures of elephants or so he boasts (he may have cheated).
comment in response to post
Perhaps he could start by paying his workers!

Then there is falling out of high windows, falling down stairs, perhaps a high speed crash on a race track, and of course planes crashing.

I loved how she called Elliot out on his treatment of Lauren. Left him nowhere to go but up his own ass.
