Every Michigan House Republican just voted to defund our schools by over $5 billion.

The Michigan House passed bills to gut education, healthcare, and other essential services under the guise of “preventing a shutdown.” My district knows better and won’t fall for it. I voted no.

Every single Republican just voted to shut down the Michigan government. #mileg

"Unconstitutional" seems like too mild a term for this.

Growing signs that US policy has moved on to regime change for allies. www.politico.eu/article/dona...

I'm hearing that DOGE is back at the United States African Development Foundation this morning, Thusday 3/6, after staffers previously blocked their access to the office and told them they were there illegally. Previous reporting from the Washington Post here: www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

Unfucking acceptable. Cowards and traitors. Names coming.

She stuffed him in a locker with this.

NEW: This superintendent runs a small charter school network with less than 1,000 students. He's made up to $870,000 in recent years. Salvador Cavazos appears to be the highest-paid superintendent in Texas and among the among the top in the country. Taxpayers likely have no clue.

Hey Latino voters—Republicans think no matter how long you or your family have been citizens, you’re still illegal aliens. That’s probably news to visa-overstayer Elon Musk.

CORRUPT OLIGARCHS (Musk/Trump) believe themselves to be in charge of raising taxes, spending revenue, making & interpreting & executing the laws. They are declaring Congress & Courts null & void. They are declaring Constitution null & void.

The United States broke a longstanding diplomatic taboo by holding secret talks with Hamas on securing the release of US hostages held in Gaza, sources told Reuters, while Trump warned of ‘hell to pay’ should the Palestinian militant group not comply reut.rs/4i29d6I

The fundamental weakness of Elon Musk is lack of it.

All this talk about wanting dems in congress to do something is reminding me of Joanne Freeman's remarkable book about political violence in the lead up to US Civil War, Field Of Blood

Helpful graphic:

If Republicans in Congress want to help make our country safe, I have some ideas for them.

At a time when the Social Security Administration is grossly understaffed, Trump plans to lay off up to 50% of its employees. Outrageous. This will make it HARDER for Americans to get the services they need. This is clearly a step toward the privatization of Social Security.

I do not have the energy to manage her emotions today. I do not have capacity to make her feel ok. I'm not ok.

So don't want to be the bearer of bad tidings: but DOGE canceled the lease on the facility that processes and stores all the nuclear waste created by the US military. Sorry. talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/doge-...

Astonishing that four SCOTUS justices think the president can order the federal government to refuse to pay congressionally-appropriated funds to contractors for *work already completed.* And in fact they’re “stunned” that anyone would disagree.

Canada needs to very seriously start planning for expelling the US military from all the shared bases and installations on Canadian soil.

No thank you.

Just an obvious point that anyone with the inside word on when these these total reversals are going to be announced is in a position to make almost limitless amounts of money. Don't forget that given the kind of people who make up this administration.

There’s no one around to stop Trump from declaring martial law and suspending the Constitution or even an election.

Enough about the price of eggs, from everyone. Cut the shit. The economy isn’t broken. It’s working exactly as they designed it—to keep you desperate, distracted, and exhausted while they cash in.

What he said about Social Security payments has been repeatedly debunked - so the question isn’t whether he’s lying about this, the question is why. What is this a pretext for? He and the GOP have long shown interest in going after Social Security. What are they going to try?

This is very bad.

The 1st president of the U.S. to ever have an unelected bureaucrat in the Oval Office after that guy bankrolled his campaign with $250M just congratulated himself for draining the swamp and announced, "The days of rule by unelected bureaucrats are over." You can't make this up.

Dude says we have to take care of our law enforcement FUCK YOU!!! YOU ASSHOLE YOU PARDONED OUR ATTACKERS

The master.

🔥🔥🔥 I’m 80 years old. I decided to call #SocialSecurity “If you are calling about a disability application due to staffing reductions, our average processing time for disability applications is 200 to 230 days. The estimated hold time is greater than 120 minutes”

Scanning the news this morning and two sets of headlines come into focus— do you think the Administation sees the problem yet? The unplanned and nonsensical reductions of federal agencies pose a danger to Americans.
