They wrote the stories, designed page layouts, contributed illustration briefs, one even took the cover photo of some others! What they produced will move, teach, and motivate you.

Over the course they learned journalism skills, developed story ideas and formed a brilliant bond as a group. For this issue of the mag, some chose to share personal stories while others used the skills they’d learned to report on wider issues of gambling harm or interview others affected

Getting to know the women who took part over 8 weeks last autumn- 10 of them, ranging in age from 20s-70s and from all different walks of life - was such a treat. They all joined because they’d been negatively affected by gambling and wanted to tell stories as a way of making change

I did a work placement at the BBC TV Centre a week or so after this and everyone there was still talking about it - I was told some staff had refused to work that programme, nobody would share the green room with Griffin etc. Doesn’t feel like it would be that way now!

Usually just politely asking if anyone wants to speak to you about something that's happening in the area/community! Lots of people do and I think it's right that they get the chance to contribute - but lots of people don't (also fine) and are extremely angry about the suggestion 🤣

They're lists of people on a certain theme & you can follow the whole thing or just go through it - there must be an actual way to find them properly that I don't know about but I just searched for some I remember e.g.
