Thats fair. I am not completely clueless about web design and have messed around with html (I am not very good at that, which is why I'll rather learn something like Wordpress that is closer to a graphical editor). However I don't have the technical know how to do any of the backend stuff myself

I need a proper website with flexibility to create things like a password protected portfolio and a media archive for a future project, and I want it to be tranferable between hosts, not specific to one platform in case that goes down. This is why I think I need to use Wordpress

Oh I've seen many of the Lupin movies, and they do an amazing job animating their car scenes!! I think in general a lot of 2D animated car scenes from animated movies look a lot better than these modern animes with 3D models

Even in arcade or cartoony style, having an understanding of how a vehicle behaves is important! I actually think many of the more toony and especially 2D animated car scenes do a better job of conveying the weight and motion of cars than more serious or 3D animated material

Oh yeah that would be a very interesting use case for BeamNG and sims in general!

Thinking about this makes me want to try making a short racing focused animation myself to see just how well a hobbyist animator who is also a car enthusiast and has simracing experience could tackle that challenge

I think this comes down to a lack of animators in the industry with experience in how cars really behave.
I think it's actually really challenging to make vehicle movement look realistic and believable, with how many forces there are at play when a car is pushed to it's limits in scenes.
