Jonathan India takes a visit to Dongtown in the top of the 1st, second pitch he saw. Will be so much fun this season with an actual leadoff hitter. Last year's historically abysmal production from the leadoff spot makes what Bobby Witt Jr did even more incredible.

Iowa had a really tough time finding a replacement for Alford & that was 17 or 18 years ago. "Football school" comment wasn't popular, but it hit close to home. Iowa was 1 of 2 B1G teams to not have a practice facility at that time. One you fall behind, it's hard to catch up let alone get ahead.
