The Ramones, with Leave Home (1977). #MusicSky

holy shit they threw him on the ground and cuffed Padilla when he was out of the room.

The Pixies, with Trompe Le Monde (1991). I must have played this CD a million times back then. #MusicSky

When we throw up our hands and say none of it matters, we're doing the fascists’ work for them. They don't need to hide their corruption if they can convince us it's pointless to look. They don't need to silence truth-tellers if we've already decided truth is meaningless.

I always thought that Sweet Dreams was the Eurythmics' first album. Apparently there was another that I didn't know about. #MusicSky

I will be damned if I allow a bunch of Confederate-waving January 6th apologists give the American people a lecture on flag waving. There is ZERO reason to enter an argument about patriotism with people who still worship traitors to America 150+ years later. They. Are. Breaking. The. Law.

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, with Deja Vu (1970). #MusicSky

Kula Shaker, with their album K (1996). #MusicSky

Who in his right mind will go to DC on June 14th to watch Trump's military parade? It started as silly aggrandizement and waste of money. But after seeing the National Guard deployment in LA it is clear that the parade is to intimidate us, not America's enemies abroad.

I don't care if these monstrous ICE raids are a "federal operation". This is authoritarian violence, plain and simple. Just because Stephen Miller has kidnapping quotas for brown people he doesn't want to see on the street doesn't mean we have to think it's okay.

The Black Crowes, with Shake Your Money Maker (1992). #MusicSky

Up the Bracket (2002) was the debut album of the Libertines. #MusicSky
