Also, in big cities, march on sidewalks against the flow of traffic on one way streets. You can avoid getting arrested for blocking the street, but since the cops follow you, they will end up blocking the street. This is a good tactic in places where they are aggressive about street marches.

it would be no different than if you lost your existing SSN card. You'd go to the social security office with your birth certificate or whatever and just get a new one. The difference would be, in the new system they could generate a different private key for you so that if it got stolen it'd be ok.

If SCOTUS and Congress roll over and allow him to rule by decree as a king, America will be over. Maybe im wrong and SCOTUS and Congress won't cede all their power to him, but im not holding my breath. we will see... 4/4

Congress passes new legislation to allow Trump to do the things SCOTUS wont explicitly let him do. Things like ending birthright citizenship will directly change the constitution. Trump wants the power to unilaterally alter the constitution and the GOP seems primed to give it to him. 3/x

Everything is done through executive order, this is key. Then, different interest groups and organizations sue because of specific executive orders. Cases go to the sympathetic supreme court to rule on. This sets new legal precedent on presidential powers. 2/x

In a time when grocery prices are already high, two colossal dumb fucks just made it much worse for everyone because Joe Rogan watched a badly made youtube conspiracy video and misunderstood it. Pure cosmic irony.

Fast forward to Palisades fire and there not being enough water pressure (cause everyone turning their faucets on at once kills the pressure). Trump hears this and remembers Joe's words and releases all the water. Not only wasting water, but fucking up the water rations and crops.

Rogan was right, Tulare dried up 90 years ago (not 1983 or whatever Joe says) because its tributaries were diverted to water crops. Joe is like, why don't we have any water when there's all this water we just let drain into the ocean. Then he passes that misunderstanding on to Trump.

I also see it dragging us into the information dark age, where truth is itself a fantasy and fantasy becomes reality. But to the original point, even within the convoluted reality of today and tomorrow, information must remain free in order that people shall remain free. Long live BitTorrent!

I don't hate AI. I hate the people controlling and building it, I hate what it's used for, and I hate the waste of resources. I think anything that undermines the massive power and resource requirements is good. I think AI can help us solve complex problems and advance science.

On one hand, I think AI is apocalyptic and dystopian, so i rejoice in its demise. On the other hand, I do believe that information yearns to be free in order for others to build upon and produce it. AI is just the natural extension of that.
