I like to shoot birds...with a camera. All photos and videos were taken by me. I write songs. https://soundcloud.com/orygun Democrat!! I support my local Food Bank. “In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer." -Camus

Impressive! Break dancing is what I'd do to my hip if I tried that.

Miller is counting on the fact that blatant lies told over and over again worked pretty well in the past.

Up is down. Black is white. Don't believe your eyes and ears.

Pipa, I've been following your travels using Google Maps. I'd love to see Spain some day but your photos will do for now. Thanks.

He'll claim his prophesy was true but the election was rigged. So it just appears he was wrong. Yeah that's the ticket.

I'm picturing Steven Wright.

More of that 4D chess we mere mortals can't understand.

I thought that was a hummingbird at first and then I see you're in Australia where there aren't any hummers. I visited Australia couple years ago. The wildlife is so different from what I'm used to here in west US.

Wipe out! Love it.

Thanks. Not so sure I'll remember a knot when I really need it.

We usually have a lot of birds at the feeders until the Cooper hawk shows up. Then it's hey, where did all the little birds go?

We have about 8 of them that show up in our backyard, usually arriving in the late afternoon. They really like the primo birdseed in the feeders that's mostly intended for the smaller birds.

The worst part: much to the delight of the crowd.

Amazing photo! What kind of triggering system did you use?

And engage the turn signal and leave it on. Make everyone guess your intention.

Very cool videos! Are you shooting them while they're flying into a fast wind? I try to film swallows but it's impossible unless they're flying into a strong head wind.

I highly recommend Blue Velvet. It's worth it just to see the Dean Stockwell lip syncing scene.

I prefer tea over coffee but now I'm seeing reports of microplastics in teabags being ingested by teabags drinkers. Always something.

After freeing a cart from the other jammed together carts, mine has the front wheel that always steers to the left.

I rented a car in Scotland a few years ago which turned out to be manual shift. Hadn't driven a manual in years but it came back to me quickly. A little strange shifting with your left hand though, not to mention driving on the left.

And a little red light that came on when you hit a station broadcasting in stereo.

I remember the x-ray machines at the shoe stores where you would expose your foot to radiation to see how well the shoes fit. Good times.

I had the Atari 1040ST for music production back then. The built in MIDI ports was a nice touch.

I've used a free program called Recuva to recover a lot of files I thought were lost due to formatting a hard drive by mistake. But looks like you've already recovered what you were looking for?

Yeah must be infuriating to see that disrespect where you live. I'm one of the good guys who stays on the path.

There was a black swan that spent the summer in a nearby wildlife refuge here in Oregon. Which is thousands of miles from its usual home in Australia. Don't know how it got there but there it was.

I've been at the cove several times. Really great spot for pelican, cormorant and other seabird photography. Also seals. Nice shot btw.

I don't look anything like that Canon guy.

I bought the SeeStar a few months ago. Amazing what you can photograph in your own suburban back yard.

Really nice shot! Some of my non-birding friends giggle when I tell them the bird's name.
