leaves too bad a taste in my mouth that she's included at all, but I also haven't seen an MCU film in a long time so I'm not invested

I'm so glad that Tkachuk brother said it was the biggest game of his career. Makes it sweeter.

Blocked for thinking it's not outlandish that a man abused and murdered his female partner

You're allowed to think about what actions someone may or may not have done outside the context of the legal system

I remember being very impressed by Dale Ho when he was an ACLU lawyer

And you need to make every story about a fucking genocide about your feelings about those people why?
comment in response to post
Did he used to be an ACLU lawyer?
comment in response to post
It says something about your character that you look at this story and feel righteous anger at a small group of voters rather than the people in power who have been committing a genocide through both administrations

People who come on stories about Gaza that are going to affect millions of people who are not Americans to make comments like these are absolute ghouls

Reyes is asking DOJ's Lynch to describe the EO without using "sex." He looks foolish, trying to describe "gender dysphoria" without using the word "sex." She is absolutely making her point.

I love this. The bison is beautiful. I've been thinking about making stickers with my No Kings linocut pinned on my profile, but I wasn't sure what type of sticker sheet to get. Did you buy these from the post office or were they free?

It's always morally correct to dunk on overconfident underqualified men.

He wrote a newsletter about American politics and made a declaration about how current events compare to American history. It's not stupid to dunk on a guy professionally writing about something he's extremely low info on.

My company did training on an AI to help write queries and in every single example they did, the query it suggested was wrong and you had to know what the correct query was to fix it. Yet they still tried to convince us it would save time.

A lot of people just refused to believe marginalized people who said Trump was a danger to them. They didn't actively want to hurt those people, but that's still bigotry.
comment in response to post
Agree you can't stop interacting with them but they are bigots. Bigots come in all sorts of flavors. Hate doesn't have to be their primary motivation. Willingness to throw other people under the bus because of your "economic insecurity" is a type of bigotry. So is willful ignorance bc you feel safe.

Calling out predatory creeps who hang out with other predatory creeps is the cultural zeitgeist right now. Post a satellite pic of the white house with a bunch of sex offender marks on it.

The reason single use plastic cups weren't made into a public enemy the same way plastic straws were is because they are as useful to abled people as they are to disabled people. If abled people *needed* straws the way disabled people do, those bans never would have happened.
comment in response to post
Banning either of them is bad. They both have their use and their drawbacks. Your city should repeal the ban, not because of Trump, but because it's a disability aid and using the law to curb the widespread availability of a disability aid is just cruelty.
