Back from RAF museum midlands & have just sat and built the Mitsubishi Zero that my 3 year old daughter was absolutely adamant she must have! Haha (They had a half term "build your own air fix model" event on) Brought back memories of building them as a kid #airfix #aviation #aircraft

Would you believe I found out today that CabAero have moved to Sywell Aerodrome which is where I used to fly from. Not only that, but CabAero now owns G-SYWL, an Aero At-3 that I used to fly out of Sywell when it was owned by Brooklands Flying School. #aeroat3 #aviation #generalaviation #sywell

Took a drive over to Sheldon Country Park this morning. Birmingham airport runway sits right up against the country park & there are a few benches set out for viewing the aircraft as they take off or land over your head. All in all, a lovely spot in the sunshine this morning. #avgeek #aviation

My ideal would be a PPL. But 45 hours minimum @ £200/260 an hr is alot. NPPl(m) is 25 hours at roughly £150 an hr. It's a big difference & the latter may be a way to get in the air that I can actually reach. Rather than dreaming of the PPL I might never afford. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️ #generalaviation #avgeek

My current dilemma. PPL - Everything I want. Allows me the dream to fly abroad in future. But very ££ heavy & pretty much out of reach. NPPL(M) - Fixed wing LSA. Only fly in UK. No ratings. VFR only. But much more ££ achievable. #generalaviation #avgeek #aviation #lightaircraft #microlight
