Knowing how a codebase works takes some reading I think. So I think might be hard if someone delegates after coding to be patient and let someone find out how software works.

I think you made me think about a quote of a famous person. I searched but unable to find. I think he said something like: “If you start to delegate writing code to another person might be tempting to write yourself in 10 minutes in stead of letting someone else code similar in a day” or something.

I was working a while subcontracted when I made email error, was not really nice toward my real employer maybe to try to hire me directly in such a role I think. But was not reason I declined.

I don’t know, I told person I was working for very quickly. Never heard about issue, later company wanted to promote me to something like CTO or something (was not big company), but I declined because I did not want more responsibility.
