… this article? I mean, if something in the Sun can be called “an article.” I prefer to think of it as “a lightly edited blog entry” but yes:

Okay one, it’s in quotes in the headline, which means it’s a quote, and two, your sycophantic D/s power kink for billionaires has likewise been noted.

Also, the “motel rule” states that if something is a stated quality, (ie “clean, cheap, renovated,” like on a motel sign) it is almost certainly not those things, as if it was it would be evident without announcement. So thank you, weird ass “high quality male,” your breeding kink is noted.

… I am not even kidding you, I got a call from a friend with a Masters in Physics when I leant them my truck for this exact reason, and I will never let them live it down

…this is hands down the stupidest thing I’ve read today, and I have WaPo open on my browser.

Um, would I trust a creature made entirely out of the internet, the place where people go to ask questions like “found this random mushroom, can I eat it?” and “best vacation ever!” -selfie with baby bear- to plan my backcountry, w/o phone service hike? No. No I would not.

Jfc. JFC. JFC and his prairie oysters on a saltine WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL. Othello. Twelfth Night. MacBeth. Did she… did she read Shakespeare? Can she read at all?

You were always headed here, where we are now. Unless we fix our hearts, we all are. Anyway. That's a true story. That's a real thing. We should maybe think about that. I hope that guy's kid is okay. I hope that guy is okay. That's all. What else is there to say?/end

true. There is something wrong with American culture--with Capitalist culture in general, it's just more obvious in American culture--something wrong deep, deep at the heart of it, bc that story was POSSIBLE in the first place. Biden was still president then. That's not Trump. That's AMERICA. /10

That is absolutely 100% plausible and a thing that did and does happen in the US. All the fucking time. Lately, everyone talks about the way things "might have been" if Kamala won, or the Dems had done something different, or if the media has just, or or or-but I don't think that's necessarily /9

and then I left. This whole time, people were just... walking around us, parting around us the way fish do around a stone, not looking at us. I've been thinking about that man a lot lately. Again, maybe he lied, but it doesn't matter to me if he did--the point is that his story COULD be real. /8

he didn't mean any harm he said, he was just so sad, and this seemed so unreal to him. "I just don't know why this is happening," he said. "I can't believe this is happening. My kid needs this to live. How is this happening?" I said I didn't know. I couldn't know. I let him squeeze my shoulder /7

lined palm. He started to cry a little, and he reached out with his other hand and I took a step back, b/c the motion startled me, and he started to apologize profusely-he had been moving to hug me, unthinkingly, and then saw that had scared me, because he was a big man and I'm small and not a man/6

he simply didn't have the money for it. His kid was sick and he didn't know what to do but ask for help. I'm Canadian. I only had like... $22 USD left in my wallet? I gave it to him, and he looked at it. He had really large, long fingered hands, and the $ looked sad and scant in his big, flat /5

This seemed emotional though, not chemical or a ploy for attention (A+ acting and worthy of a tip if it was, honestly). He told me he had just moved and something had gone wrong with his health insurance; his partner was still coming from Georgia, and he had the kid, but the kid needed insulin and/4

What stopped me was that he seemed desperate-genuinely, honestly, desperate. He was pacing, frantic, near tears-and yes, I know this, too, could be a tactic, or a sign of addiction (and even if it was, that doesn't invalidate the desperation--you ever had the shakes bro? That's URGENT). /3

I am not a rube. I was a street person for several years, and a reporter who worked on housing and social justice. I live in a neighborhood where people struggle with addiction. People were just walking by this man-he was very tall, casually dressed but in clean clothes, and black-but I stopped. /2

… has it ever occurred to you that any religion in which the “good” go to an eternal, endless land of bliss and the “bad” go to a well-deserved endless horror show of torment is, by the necessity of such childlike duality, going to breed horrors in the name of “saving” souls? It’s rotten inside out.

Okay regardless of all other statements, that goddamn reptilian eye sees straight through the end of days and is unmoved, amoral and thus free of sin but capable of judging sins, ancient as the sea and innocent as the first snow, love and terror incarnate, and I haven’t even popped this edible(pops)
