If i was the owner of Man Utd i would definitely not...
1. vastly overpay transfer fees for very average players.
2. vastly overpay salaries of those players .
3. Stumble along without a long term plan.
4. Extract as much money as i could without caring about performances, trophies, fans etc

Salah is a definite sell now he's signed a new contract, Harry Brook is the obvious replacement.

Signing Haaland in 2022 as a battering ram seems to have facilitated a steep decline???

Football-ish related... would it be possible to add a simple 'reject all' option on your website/app privacy/data preferences pop up?

For FPL managers Haaland and Man City are not the problem but his £15m price point is. Where does the value lie when £6m players out score the most expensive FPL player of all time.

Of the many data points available surely watching matches is the *most* important data we can collect. How can 'X' data contextualise Man City recently selling Cole Palmer and Julian Alvarez and re-signing the aging Gundogan?

Maybe if you captain Palmer what you are really saying is you think Man City will keep a clean sheet...

'The eye test' adds some context to xData, intuition must also fit into the knowledge pool somewhere.

Question - two aliens land on Earth with no previous knowledge of FPL and never having seen a football match before. They both begin playing FPL, one alien solely watches lots of games on which he bases his FPL decisions the other uses only data to make decisions. Which alien wins his mini league?

Triple defence will induce an ulcer and is therefore best avoided...

If you don't actually watch football matches then i can see how being a great athlete and having the ability to think quickly and clearly under pressure can easily be mistaken for luck...

City may control the game via possession but Spurs are great on the counter attack. This game is not an easy win for City...

Whenever I've watched Pedro it seems like he can create a bit of magic out of nothing whereas Johnson is a little more reliant on his teammates.

At a hefty £15m is it only worth having Haaland in your team if you plan to captain him every single game week?
