Store the boolean result a variable with a meaningful name and then doing the if.
Its the job of the compiler to optimize this.

I like to finish things to the end. Nobody has to be dependent on me. I simply look for new work if the job is done. Otherwise I'd be totally bored 😉

just the first char of my first name and my much longer last name cut to overall 8 chars. it was my login name on the first "serious" computer i got my dirty hands on - an ibm rs/6000 7011 running aix and fiber channel "real" internet 😊
