My ex-husband had to fly to Seattle years ago and it was booked from Seattle. He flew Fredericton , Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Seattle lol On the way back he went Seattle, Chicago, Toronto, Ottawa, Fredericton. At least that was the right direction!

I agree with you on that, that there should always be an exception to those who can't. I disagree with pulling funding or any punitive actions if there IS a mandate in place (with exceptions). I actually would be a lot less concerned about this EO if masking and other protections were universal.

Ugh you're right about the fallout. Dammit. I would hope that wouldn't be the play but at this point I didn't think a lot of things would be in play, and here we are. Really not enjoying how dark this darkest timeline is :(

SAME! Those books opened worlds to me. I never would have questioned as much without those books over the years.

I've never been so glad my elementary school library (back in the *cough* 80s) didn't give a damn what we read, as long as we were reading. There were no limits on content OR how many books you could read. Great for the speed reading book nerd that was 11 year old me. I'd devour 10 books a week.

I mean, I've joked for years we ended up on a different timeline when the weasel screwed up the Large Hadron Collider in 2016 but maybe it's not actually a joke...because I can't get my head around anything anymore that can even come close to explaining anything anymore.

I'm horrified by the rhetoric and gaslighting and white(war?)-washing being done about who did what and caused what to whom. None of it helps the people of Gaza rebuild after a genocide they didn't start.
