Overall - a damn solid game. Beautiful (although not as visually striking as Ender Lilies), a great OST (not quite as memorable as EL but Mili always deliver), good writing, satisfying gameplay, fun platforming (not super frustrating), good exploration.
A solid 7/10. Love metroidvanias? Play it!

I played most of the game on hard (not that it matters; your only reason to play on a higher difficulty is to get a currency that is only used to purchase costumes and art, and it's not tied to a trophy). Went over to easy for the true final boss mostly because the damage was way too high.

I'm playing through Ender Magnolia right now and it's excellent. About halfway through I think. Not hard in the slightest thus far (that may change) but very enjoyable and absolutely gorgeous, lovely soundtrack too. Fast and fluid combat. If you enjoyed Ender Lilies you will enjoy this one. :)

I loved Control. Not *playing* it, necessarily (felt like I was always three shots away from death) but the storytelling was amazing. Dipped out to experience Alan Wake mid-game when I realized it's in the same universe, and I'll be checking out AW2 someday too.

I liked it a lot. I was wanting a bit more mystic elements (like Nioh 1 & 2) but that's not what they were trying to do with this one and I respect that. Great world traversal, fun combat. Very enjoyable!

Thank you for telling me, and I'm sorry you're dealing with that. Mine is a sharp, high frequency hiss, but nothing tonal. I'm worried it'll impair my mixing but as you say, I'll learn to work around it. Appreciate you!
