Whoot, there it is.

That is among the sweetest faces I think I have ever seen.

I suspect you're right, honestly, and it infuriates me that no one in legacy media dares utter the idea, simply "reporting" on the volatility.
The only place you see it addressed is in "comedy" looks at recent news, like with Jon Stewart, or perhaps with Colbert, Kimmel or Meyers.

I have little doubt there was a greater trail of economic destruction in his wake.

WTF are you even saying? Whoās the we, here?
And Iām no particular fan of Bidenās, sorry. Criticism is fine, & he deserves a great share, but garbage facts are still garbage. THAT, friend, is true MAGA, making āfactsā what you want them to be.
WE, Iām thinking, donāt want that shit here either.

The death toll under Biden? He INHERITED a pandemic, and then actually fought back. Public health officials rightly PRAISE the guy.
I originally posted what was clearly hyperbole. But you, youāre itching for a fight with someone, & throwing anger out as fact. Go find Biden & yell at him. Iām out.

As a pandemic, it WAS over. Should the stimulus have been extended? Perhaps. But youāre conflating ideas pretty baldly here.

No, he absolutely wasnāt. He actively acknowledged the disease and encouraged vaccinations, which is a CRUCIAL difference. He didnāt pull a Trump or a Reagan and essentially DENY the existence of a largely unstudied and potentially, or outright, deadly disease. I work in public health, BTW.

We should have been so lucky.

Not COVID. My mom died from it.

Iād argue tossup here. One sort-of word: COVID.

It would be, and may ultimately be, but again, this isnāt a real ranking. People clearly want it to be. He has to get out of off office first.

Seems reasonable to me!

Just to be clear: This is not a real ranking, folks. He has to get out of office first. He also didnāt start the Civil War, so heās got real competition.
Which obviously doesnāt mean I still donāt personally believe itās true.

True. The standing rankings still apply. I was being hyperbolic.
That said, give this fucker time. Bankrupting the country and destroying its alliances is tough to compete with.

Down. There's some fine editing for ya, huh?
Dow, obviously.

Friends with individuals, yes. But our idiot āleaderā is killing international friendships that have taken a lifetime to solidify.

Alliances are always necessarily in flux, to some extent, and have to be. Itās simple self-preservation. What the U.S. may find over the next several years, however, is that our new untrustworthiness has made us unneeded.
comment in response to

There will. But in the meantime, the fool and his vile little minions are testing our trusted alliances, including NATO, in ways that are already creating the necessity of NEW alliances, both economic and military. We will not come out of this with all pre-Trump global relationships intact.

The first question: WHO are the Democratic leaders? Chuck @schumer.senate.gov "Give It Away for Nothing" Schumer, now on a book tour? Or possibly Mr. Noted Book Tour himself, Hakeem @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social Jeffries?
Project Uh-Oh, it is.
Leadership would be a great big effing plus about now.

Hell, this might even wake @schumer.senate.gov up long enough that he can wring his hands over it.

That is amazingly well put. Also, so utterly ridiculous a foreign-policy position as to be laughable. Except now I won't be able to afford coffee. And that's no laughing matter.

Going out to breakfast will soon be the equivalent of a car payment. Hell, I reckon I can get rid of my car ...

As am I, who didn't. Coffee is a fundamental part of my life, and I'm on an increasingly fixed income.

When they came for various other products, I was silent, because I didn't use the other products. But then they came for my motherfucking coffee ...
