I'm wearing jeans and a plain green men's sweatshirt today. Why did the queer barista at the coffee shop feel the need to tell me he loved my outfit. My good friend, there's nothing to love. Unless you're a fan of plain practicality, which I am, but it's not exactly flashy ??

I'm gathering art ideas and I think it would be funny to make kawaii chibi versions of them as stickers. Huge head chibi kawaii Darth Vader in pink with a little hello kitty bow and a neon anime blush. Is this anything

Especially when you compare it with other Disney media! Their stuff is queer resonant all the time without meaning to be! Especially the older it is

At least Let It Go is pretty and sung by Idina Menzel. At least people don't sing that song at me when I say common phrases like "you're welcome" and "thank you" and "what can I say"

Do it!
It probably wouldn't kill me either (even tho I β¨loatheβ¨ that stuff - I was taking an equivalent in college and did not enjoy my networking class). Buuuut... I should focus on my full stack skills first probably.
I like that those certs are relatively accessible!

Sure yeah I dropped out for different reasons than Steve Jobs but the industry should be SO open to alternative education. But. Evidence is to the contrary

Absolutely wild that you can't get a job without a degree in the field that was famously created by college dropouts π«

And they're hiring less bc people in charge of budgeting and hiring genuinely believe that AI tools will eliminate jobs. Like they think using AI means they need a fraction of the devs they would otherwise look for

All of the info about getting hired in tech is like years out of date bc it's brutal out there right now.
There's more people who want the jobs, yes, but companies are hiring fewer developers and most are hiring senior or offshore exclusively. Bc it's cheaper

5+ years ago, yeah totally. You could get a job no problem. Now? Good fracking luck!

Sure it might *work* but it's not necessarily *accurate* when you get into the nitty gritty

Thinking that coding could ever be fun on command was my first mistake. It's ONLY fun when I don't expect it and usually when I don't have time to enjoy it π

And then the meds were nearly gone by the time I closed the laptop. Disaster

The funniest part of this is that I took my meds trying to get to the point where I could clean today but when they kicked in I was like hmmm..... It's time to Code

I did eventually get like half an hour of coding in lol but by that point I couldn't enjoy it π

Sorry you are and always have been in the gutter with the rest of us. Sorry he tricked you into thinking you'd be better off without your LGBTQ+ or POC neighbors, with whom you actually have a lot more in common than you have with him. Sorry he used you.

Even people who rabidly love him will suffer - almost as much as those of us who don't like him - and I do actually feel that that's tragic.
Loving Trump won't make groceries cheaper or stop you from dying from preventable diseases. You were never invincible. Sorry

Just can't believe he managed to bamboozle so many people into thinking that they could be one of the 5 people for whom life did not get immediately significantly worse π«

I'm not gonna lie, I didn't think this many of his plans would work. And I expected it to take longer, I guess

Seriously, like maybe this is cold, but it does me no good. The thought is nice, but "hey I'm thinking of you" when something bad happens to queer people makes me feel a little weird at best π
What I'd love is if they started just being consistently louder with their allyship
