With the recent death and that one persistently absent Arizona guy he can probably lose 1-2 more right?

And with Kia coming out with cheap~ electric cars it’s really not good for tesla

And like I actually don't understand cause I'm not an economist lol
comment in response to post
what's the risk of stagflation though? I have a tough time understanding how Fed can cut if still above inflation target without causing more inflation
comment in response to post
% chance he still backs down despite that press conference? I put it at 40% lol

In all seriousness I should have stocked up on French/German defense stocks when trump won😭
comment in response to post
Wow!🤩 I’m sure that’s all because investors think good times are ahead

It's pretty cool. Realistically you'd want more high-rises and run the trains A LOT more, along with frequent buses to Princeton/Lawrenceville etc. But this will do

At this point I just want a party that tough on Russia (tougher than the SPD) and recognizes incoming US abandonment bsky.app/profile/carl...

lots of results outstanding in western germany where they are weaker. Will be a nailbiter.

As the article mentions businesses don’t raise prices till they have to to ensure survival. But waiting out the bird flu/climate change won’t work .

Pure CDU &SPD coalition would be best, but Grüne wouldn’t be the worst I guess

Depends on how hard tourism gets hit i guess.
comment in response to post
Maybe we can put TX in play? Depends on how the environment deteriorates

As a Bayern Fan, I was sweating. We didn’t really deserve it, but that‘s soccer for you

If my pilot isn’t a DEI hire, I don’t want to fly

I just filed. Hopefully I get it before lol

But won’t cutting because of economic weakening lead to higher inflation?
comment in response to post
After this drama we’re slowly going to see a realization that nothing good is coming . I expect in ~two months average pills will have him at Biden levels
comment in response to post
Yeah. I hope my network will be enough when I need a job, but it’s just really demoralizing.
comment in response to post
Of course the job Marcket is also (likely) going to be ridiculously hard to enter once I graduate, if they are pushing thousands of scientists from Government and academia to the private sector
comment in response to post
Yeah in Sciences. Don’t use animals, and we don’t have core facilities. But we do have maintenance people, and I guess we won’t have extra budget to replace machines etc.
comment in response to post
I heard state schools won’t be too bad since we get some coverage from state for overhead? I’m only in my 3rd year of PhD, need one more to graduate 🙏

It hasn’t been affecting humans too much…. Yet

The problem with cows getting infected is that they kinda serve as a "reservoir" and the virus is able to mutate and cycle back to poultry/mammals. At least that's how I understand it
comment in response to post
I don't think cows get culled for this. And no point in stopping testing for poultry, because they die really fast once infected.
comment in response to post
We need more normies
comment in response to post
And I think at the current rate they will - Chaos in the WH, no deflation and general incompetence will make this a lot worse
comment in response to post
Also serious question: I know the president can’t actually shutter agencies, but if they just fire everyone is that legal?
comment in response to post
Can’t wait for it to be negative again. Probably next week

I thought you were the only person actually running to change things and be bold! Everyone else was a little blah, although the mayor of Newark was good too.
comment in response to post
Doesn’t sound very hopefully to me

And I don’t mean to imply the cabinet will try to “do the right thing”. But at some point he’ll interfere with conservative goals
comment in response to post
I think that’s likely correct. No one wants to cross him and he’s losing it. I think the odds of a 25th amendment are higher than anticipated down the line. Just because there’s only so much chaos this country can take
comment in response to post
*26 midterms can stop some of this.

Need a couple more Dan Osborns.

Praying she runs! But yeah the Tariffs will be bad for AK. Mount Denali renaming was also a useless gesture engineered to anger native Americans. Can’t believe it’s only week 2

Think the February 18th is just for oil/gas
