Halo really is the only holdout now huh? I wonder much longer that will last...🤔

Good game (as far as I've heard) and good team (from what I've seen myself). Can't help but find it odd though how fast this thing is moving forward. I wonder why that is?🤔

How many times are Naughty Dog going to re-release these games? I dislike using temrs such as 'milking it' but that's the only way I can describe this. Good boxart or not.

Nice.👍 I´m happy with the news and the rewriting I´ll have to do for my review of the series (I alluded to the possibility of a 2nd season more than once) is more than worth the good news this evening😋

So there's hope after all!

I could justify the 60,- to myself. I can't do the same with 80,-. I really, really want to know if the market will except these prices. Part of waiting is because I want to see how 3rd parties price their games, if stuff like Hyrule Warrios will be cheaper and how retailers wil price the games.

The higher price of the games is what made me decide to wait a couple of months. I can eat the extra 20,- on the one time purchase but not on dozens of them. 😬 However: my usual place list DK's preorder only 5,- more than the expect 70,-. I hope competitive pricing will save my ass here.🤞

To this day I'm of the opinion that The Last of Us should've been a one and done game. The perfect singular, self contained gaming experience that is best left alone. I can't quite explain to you why but it has but I can tell you I felt this way long before Part II was even announced.

Split Fiction. That game that is checking so many boxes yet I can´t play since I have not a single soul to play it with me. 😅 It stings but that's how the cookie crumbles.

I'm counting on Metal Gear Solid Delta showing up (that date leak). I also would like a check in with Ghost of Yōtei. That's all. Not going to think about more. Just let it come and be surprised by what is shown instead of being dissapointed something I was hoping for didn't grace my screen.

Finally. Haven´t played the game myself (yet) but doesn't chance the fact that it shouldn't have taken such a lauded game this long to become profitable. I hope the buzz from Alan Wake 2 will give their next title a boost so this won't happen again.

Why is are PlayStation´s presentations always in the dead of the night in Europe? I never get to watch them live because of that. Would it be so hard to alternate between drop times? One is easier of the US to watch live, the next for the EU etc.

Very late to this but I fully relate to social media being exhausting. Social stuff takes a lot of energy out of me. That it's online changes very little about that. I feel guilty that I use this mostly to promote my blog but I also feel a lot better after the Twitter detox. Internal struggles.

For context on the whole 'I suspect this post won't get a lot of reads' thing: my review of Echoes of Wisdom that dropped last Saturday outpaced my top 5 games in 2024 post in 4 days. In other words: it pulled in as many readers in 4 days as the one above did in 17.

Been playing for a few days now and yeah... you're right. Went to bed nearly an hour later yesterday than planned because that 'just one more level...' urge😅

I feel you. Rarely do I play a game these days and start it up immediately. Got myself AstroBot as a 'you finally pased your drivers exam' congratulatory present three weeks ago. The disc in my PS5 ever since but never booted it up... Tomorrow, I swear! 😅

Free speech doesn´t mean just start yapping. When you don´t like something, that´s fine, but most of the time its best to just stay quite and just move on. Spent your time talking about the stuff that you like, not waste it by talking about what you hate. Like that makes you any friends...

My parents' dog is staying over for the day so yes, my morning is going well!🐶

I holidayed in `Hintergarten´ this year. AKA at home. I did, however, get to experience a good old tropical island vacation through Isle Delfino. I cannot say it was a very relaxing vacation. Put up against Super Mario 64, this is the better game for me, but man can it be hard and unforgiving!

Sometimes you come across what is considered a classic that you just don´t like. You just can´t get into. Star Fox 64 is such a game for me. I gave it a fair shot but I just don´t find its arcade, on rails gameplay appealing. Nuff said.

To drink or to swim in? Or both?

An interesting game I will admit but not one that I loved as much as Felix from NintendoLife from whom I learned this game existed. As it stands it was a fun peak into a piece of Japanese culture in a cozy but for me rather unremarkable 1950´s setting with a Tokusatsu twist.
