Have you ever finished a story--regardless of the length--and be like "I actually finished the damn thing." I'm going to count that as a personal victory. #writer

I stumbled on this article while doing research on Black trans people transitioning in the 30s. Sharon Davis transitioned in 1980. Here's her story. www.kykyarchives.com/archive/shar... #transhistory

This looks really awesome. Just ran into this artist a few seconds ago.

Hey everyone! This video is addressed to those who those following me! I appreciate your support. Since making the decision to publish fictional writing, there's been more of an interest in my work and I'm here for it. Thank you! #thankyou

I have to agree with this. Octavia Butler shifted my entire literary world when I read "The Parable" Series. N.K. Jemisin is another female Sci Fi author I enjoy reading.

Holy smokes!! We just hit #1 🥳🥳🥳 Thanks so much to everyone who has supported our launch 🥰😍😁

Happy Monday, fam! We speak life into each other in these parts. Writers, do you use affirmations for your goals? Share some of the faves that helped you get through the rough patches! #sobeit #seetoit

Absolutely! Sci-fi often mirrors reality. As Philip K. Dick said, "Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn’t go away." 🪐📚 How do you see our future shaping up? #SciFi

This is the first time reading The Reframe. However, it gives me hope because I really am hoping that everything that’s going on now will make people who believe in the system realize that the system was never designed for working class people. It’s time to work towards a community-centered world.

Fidel Castro. He was both loved and feared by his people. It was to the extent that lore has been created about him. He was known as the Man Who Can Never Be Killed, which elevated people’s love and fear of him. People’s perception of these leaders is what makes these charismatic leaders dangerous.

Book rec of the day! Dark and unsettling. Slow burn. A woman spiraling into severe depression. Generational trauma. Visions of La Llorona. Visceral and brutal yet gentle and tender. A haunting both external and internal. Difficult to read at times, but worth it. #booksky #horrorbooks #LaLlorona

This looks like a beautiful collection.

How many people can see my posts? Want to make sure I'm not being pushed down at the bottom or getting lost in the algorithm.

He's saying the quiet part out loud because there's been very little push back. He's yet to face consequences for what he's done even before his presidency & he's continuously pissed on anything pertaining to due process. I'm not shocked he sees himself as a hero. We're living in the Upside Down.

I’m seeing all these good books out here. Plus, I’ve always wanted to read “Out There Screaming.”

Black sapphic sci-fi books

My weekend plans: 1 down, 2 to go.

I read physical books because that’s how I like to absorb information but I don’t think there’s anything illegit about audiobooks, it’s just a different medium for story & a different way it can reach people who get info that way & when people say they enjoyed my novel’s audiobook I appreciate it.

Dear algorithm: Connect me with the following people: *Black & BIPOC book lovers *Speculative Fiction fans * Hoodoo practitioners/witches who love ghost stories *Authors of Horror, Science Fiction, Urban Fantasy, Magical Realism *Children’s books & YA novels May we find each other. Ase, Ase, Ase

I’m here for every part of this. I’d like to read this book.

Introducing myself again. I'm Louis. I'm a multi-genre author who writes Afrocentric fiction for the following genres: Horror, Magical Realism, Folklore, Science Fiction, & Urban Fantasy. Be prepared for the ghost stories I've always wanted to write. Or one about ETs who works at a coffee shop.

I'm here to announce that The Chronicles of the Fellow Traveler will be discontinued. For one, I don't enjoy essay writing. I'm more of a fictional author. Secondly, I'm writing a memoir and will be dedicating my platform to that. Thanks for following. I appreciate y'all.

Nothing fills my cup more than having coffee & planning with Black Anarchists. It does my heart good #blackcommunity
