As an autistic veteran, I've gotta say that the rigidity to rules is actually somewhat soothing to many with autism. Also plenty of ways to serve without needing to touch a gun (though, no one should be forced to serve against their will).

I don’t think it’s just coastal brain. We systematically under represent PoC in media from anywhere that isn’t Detroit/Harlem/Inglewood/etc. Anywhere “worth” living, or representing “the heartland of America” is represented as having fewer PoC.
