I remember her. Fellow Philly girl. 😢 interesting writer and fierce advocate of the human right to dignified healthcare.

If you want a neutral take on Afrikaners, read Tangle. www.readtangle.com/the-u-s-acce...

That is a very disingenuous statement. Bring Garcia back and give him due process. Welcome in the Afrikaans but not give them “refugee” status.

Friends came over last night with a delicious dinner and a stack of games. They did my dishes and took out my overflowing recycling. I’m on week 3 of 6 weeks of no weight on my broken left leg.

How do you know this is about Valerie? You don’t for sure. He’s had a lot of life experiences, and is unpacking a lot that he’s been through. Stop making everything he posts about her.

I am a single woman who lives far from family. I broke my leg and needed surgery. My sister flew in to be with me and all my neighbors have been amazing and helping me with whatever I need.

There wasn’t a problem. Her server was set up and secured by government IT personnel. The only reason it was found was because an attempt was made to hack it. A FAILED attempt, I might add.

Loved this more than The Martian. I’ve read The Martian once. I’ve picked this up over and over.

Mountains beefing on TikTok. Rainer and Hood fighting over size and St. Helen, Yosemite and Yellowstone taking sides…but the killer account is Denali. 😆 it’s the BEST!

My income tax refund cleared. I immediately put it towards my credit card. I’m that much closer to paying off the balance.

I am so sorry. I work for county government. I’m deeply concerned about the effects this government will have on our grant funded programs like Ryan White.

She has a stuffed squeaky caterpillar that has lasted so long it’s disgusting. Lol. I’m never sure the squeakers will still work if I put them through the washer. 😆

I walked away from that religion at 22, and tested for immunity around 24. The only virus still posing a danger to me was German Measles. I got my MMR shot at 24. Now, I can only hope that the worst consequences of these parent’s decisions don’t occur. 6/6

That was 33 years ago, and the horror of knowing how easily it all could be been avoided haunts me to this day. Hopefully those anti vaxxer parents aren’t also anti medical care. 5/6

Altogether over the course of about 6 weeks, 8 children died. We came to dread the ring of the telephone. We fasted and prayed to understand why God was allowing it to happen. I remember kneeling at church, soft tears flowing down my face as I prayed for healing for my friends. 4/

The measles outbreak in 10th was deadly and devastating. I was fine. I was immune. But too many kids became deathly ill. The city health dept intervened on some cases and forced court ordered hospitalization. 3/?

Being the youngest of a large family, I had all the diseases when I was too young to remember. So when the chicken pox broke out in 6th grade, I was immune. In a private school established by the religion, I was one of ~15 6th graders. 3 of us showed up to class during that outbreak. 2/?
