If $TGT mgmt is smart, they'll reverse their anti-DEI stance and bring diverse shoppers back into stores. This would also neutralize the false premise of the right-wing labor group's lawsuit, ie, that which Target mgmt harmed the business thru pro-DEI policies. And CEO Cornell should be fired.

True. If $TGT mgmt is smart, they'll reverse their anti-DEI stance and bring diverse shoppers back into stores. It would also show the premise of that right-wing labor group's lawsuit, which accused Target mgmt of harming the business thru pro-DEI policies, was false.

Yes, and once Trump controls the Fed, he'll shut it down. Another checkbox item for Project 2025. This is just recklessly irresponsible.

And 100% of Republicans in the House and Senate won't do anything to save America's economy or the world's financial infrastructure

My read of Powell's speech last week: the Fed doesn't meddle in politics. And the tariffs are a political decision. So, the Fed won't act until they clearly see the effects of Trump tariffs have become a credit or bank liquidity event. We're not there yet.

The Truth: Offshoring of American manufacturing was done by profit maximizing American CEOs. They gladly shipped manufacturing lines overseas to exploit cheaper labor, and then fired American workers.

We could've used another one of Jim Cramer's, "They Know Nothing!!" monologues like at the launch point of the GFC. He spoke with such fire that it likely shook regulators and CEOs out of their stupors. Maybe he's softened with age. Or maybe we'll see it next week, depending on the trading action.

Enjoyed the great analysis in your article. I'm trying not to get too distracted by the 3-card Monte tactics (which is tough), as we await one of their ultimate Project 2025 end-game goals: Eliminating the Federal Reserve. That day Forex markets will surely be in a no-bid limit down Minsky Moment.

Their handlers won't allow this. It would go against the Curtis Yarvin plan--funded by billionaires--to install a Trump 2.0 "Signing Pen POTUS" that hires a CEO-dictator to run the country overseen only by a Board of Directors (not Congress or the Judiciary)" youtu.be/rRq14ZBYwus?...

They yearn for 18th/19th century economic models. Like saying let's devolve the US economy from global supply chains to 100% captive domestic supply. How about we go from using electronic calculators to abacuses, and stop developing self driving cars and buy horse drawn carriages. Nonsense.

Farm bailout would likely be part of negotiations for the September funding package. How they find money when they're gutting agency spending is a mystery. Let's see how many farmers last til September.

100% agree based on those voting. When you add the number of eligible voters who didn't vote, the percentage drops to around 30%. Voter suppression is driving minority rule.

Reminds me of the banking industry when they create a "bad bank" Corp and then throw all the worst loan assets into it. xAI bag -- I mean Shareholders should be livid.

Read the NBC article. Robert Ehrlich and his associates appear to have attempted a coup, but unfortunately that's not stated anywhere in the article.

Pure speculation, but could be signaling folks are buying gold as a hedge against the Trump Admin instructing the Treasury Dept at some point to reneg on paying Treasuries at maturity. We can only hope they're not that insane.

The Tesla Board has repeatedly been derelict in its fiduciary duty to shareholders. They should have fired Elon musk long ago.
