'When is bin day?'

Very good 🙌

your bill is going up in april

See it. Say it. Sorted.

Brexiters have national betrayal in their DNA. They hope Trump will bring our govt down, keep us away from the EU and trample all over us on trade. You might not agree with a fair bit that Starmer’s govt is doing but surely you still want what’s best for our country. And it sure as shit isn’t this…

UK did a great job of sucking-up to the school bully, and in activating the latent but potent deference-snobbery-flattery of the Crown. Good, short-term expedients. But in longer-term UK still needs to extricate itself from US, and minimise/eliminate exposure to its abuses of power.

Notice how on the day Trump promises to release the Epstein files he actually releases Andrew Tate, another sex trafficking rapist.

Keir Starmer's senior advisers have been taking advice about "how to govern a multi-ethnic society” from Boris Johnson's former aide Murina Mirza, according to the Times. Here's some of her previous thoughts on the subject

Weird, given that they’re fine with a rapist like Trump.

Quite the message from the guy running our government

Disgusting way to repay the loyalty of the thousands of Trans military personnel who’ve served. Shameful, hateful and disastrous for our country and our military.

Ed Davey calls for the renationalisation of Thames Water Keir Starmer ignores him #PMQs

Air traffic controllers are required by law to retire at 56. It is a high-stress, high-intensity job that requires intense focus. The retirement rules are there to keep us all safe. This fucking guy has no clue what's he's doing.

You can’t make this stuff up. Trump supporters spent the past few years obsessing over an apparent sex trafficking cabal in charge of our country. And yet one of the first things Trump seems to have done, apparently, is push to get the Tates, charged with sex trafficking, released from Romania.

The cost of reaching net zero in the UK by 2050 is now predicted to be just 0.2% of GDP (about £4 billion per year). Spread this far and wide. It reveals Reform and the Conservatives' opposition to net zero for being 'too expensive' as just plain wrong.

🚨BREAKING - Steve Reed has just launched the biggest review into the water sector since privatisation. But wait…..he says the commission can’t even consider public ownership. 🤯 We need to act quickly to change his mind. ⏰ Sign our petition now ✍️ weownit.org.uk/act-now/stev...

So, Trump forcibly deports hundreds of immigrants who have no criminal record and welcomes in Andrew Tate - a toxic misogynist on trial for rape, child-trafficking and money-laundering. Sums up what this repulsive US regime is all about. Moral depravity and money. Nothing else. Nothing good.

This isn't why the EU was formed, but I'm glad the Brexiteers now admit that only in the EU, in the nations of Europe united, do we have the power to stand up to Washington

This is the logical conclusion to her deranged, racist politics and the open sewer of our current discourse. A race now, I guess, for the first brown Tory to deport themselves to a country they don't know.

Pretty certain the first thing Trump will say to Starmer when he gets to the White house is "release Tommy Robinson to us or the UK is getting Tariffs"

This is, simply, evil. You don’t need to parse it or debate it; it is cruelty inflicted for no other reason than to demonstrate that cruelty can be inflicted, the hallmark of tyranny through history. If you can’t call that evil, why have the word in your lexicon at all?

Just in case anyone has any remaining doubt about the contempt in which the Trump govt holds women, and accusations of sexual assault, note that his govt's pressure on the Romanian govt has secured the travel of the Tate brothers to the US this morning. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/c7...

Again, folks seem not to grasp how much this is a total collapse of the Constitutional order. A random private citizen is running the "Cabinet" meeting of POTUS & the Principal Officers of the Executive Departments, & going around unplugging large portions of the government. And we're all just 🤷‍♂️

Remember when the Telegraph used to run a weekly column saying EU was about to collapse and now apparently it was screwing America all along?

Grim. But perfectly illustrates the kind of people beloved of President Musk and Vice President Krasnov.

Lots of "Very Serious People" don't want to admit what is plain and obvious and in front of our eyes and explains so much: Donald Trump and Elon Musk are two of the most ignorant and uninformed people to ever be allowed near public office anywhere in the western world. It's obvious to all of us.

Think that’s it for my @newstatesman.com subscription. I don’t give a sh*t what Bannon was really up to. If you can’t draw a red line around literal Hitler salutes (which should not come with pathetic “scare quotes”) you are part of the problem

Austerity, local authority enforcement, and social justice You may be unaware of them but trading standards and environmental health departments in local authorities could save your life. Yet austerity has harmed them too. ✍️ Dr Huw Evans bylines.cymru/politics-and...

Liz Truss called solar farms a “blight on the landscape”, but researchers have found they are actually better for birds than farmland Solar farms in East Anglia had greater bird diversity & bird abundance than nearby arable land, a study finds Paper here later www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10....

This is big. Far-right troll site Guido Fawkes has always claimed it isn't subject to UK libel law as it's officially offshore. Today it conceded that it defamed Dale Vince, making clear it it's subject to UK law. No more dodging scrutiny. Staines will have to play by the rules like the rest of us.
