Weekend reading - I think it’ll take me several weekends to read!

@suchmo83.bsky.social is knowledgeable speaker and got me thinking - as a secondary teacher - incredibly hard about our approach to teaching reading. If you can, you must sign up!

What a fascinating thread!

I'm making the most tentative of steps into podcasting. My podcasts will explore leadership and Episode 1 is all about charisma. Be gentle, it's my first one! open.substack.com/pub/bennieka... #EduSky

100%

Very helpful article from @greeborunner.bsky.social on using Modelling.

I really enjoyed reading this from fellow ELE at St Matthew’s Research School, Chris Catto. researchschool.org.uk/stmatthews/n...

Hard agree

I often hear educational leaders who say they 'accidentally stumbled into educational leadership.' I've always been intentional about my leadership journey and never heard a BAME leader accidentally stumbling into a leadership role. Are there any BAME leaders who have?

I'm currently working on this principles guide for effective subject development time. If anyone would like to take a look and give feedback, please let me know.
