The dumber the voter, the more easy it is to manipulate and gaslight them.

It would great to see malls reimagined into community areas where people can drop their kids off for lessons, take lessons themselves, have doctors offices that are open off-hours of the normal 9-5 so people don't have to take time off from work. Gotta still have a food court & movie theater though🍿

Same here, but the 80s. This past year my mom told me that she did it because they couldn't afford it and I told her I would have taken out loans. Wish she would have been more honest about a lot of things when I was in my teens and 20s.

I swear Gen X should be called Generation Screwed. By the early 2000s we finally had enough to buy a house, then 2008 hit and we lost our jobs and houses, then Covid, and now this nonsense is just putting a nail in the coffin of us ever being able to retire.

Apple TV has incredible shows (Ted Lasso, Silo, Bad Monkey, Shrinking, etc.), but the marketing for the shows is horrendous. I fall down a rabbit hole finding new (at least to me) and amazing shows on it all of the time.

That reminds me of this clip from comedian Neal Brennan about 100 2A guys vs 2 soldiers m.youtube.com/watch?v=WOSq...

An episode of Doctor Who introduced me to her and led me to research more about her. What an amazing woman!

The "Connecting Seasons" are great too. It's really intriguing to see what additional impacts the accelerated technological advancements would have caused.

Same, but with my fabric stash.

Still irritated at cellphones going the way of being sealed up instead of being able to just grab a spudger to pop it open and swap pieces out.

It's nice to be able to fix certain components of something (ex bigger kitchen appliances) rather than having it brick if the board running the thing goes. I still can't wrap my head around wanting everything to be computerized.

What I wouldn't give for an amazing rail system! Plus, everyone's rage would hopefully* go down quite a few notches from not dealing with traffic. * I would love to say "probably", but I'm realistic

Brilliant description! It's going to be one of my holiday go-tos from now on. I was happy to read that it's already been renewed for a second season, so hopefully Netflix doesn't Netflix it up.

Loved #BlackDoves! And the identity of Mrs. Clark was an extra wonderful surprise!

Why they haven't is beyond me. The 1% have successfully distracted the 99% by controlling the narrative of Group A should hate Group B. If the 99% could get our sh!t together, we could have amazing things like housing/education/healthcare for everyone, the ability to reverse climate change, etc.

There's a cybertruck in my area and I laugh nonstop every time I see it. It's so hilariously ugly.

That stinks that it broke. Loctite is my go-to for that stuff. Hope you're able to fix it.
