So? How much?

It was time to flush out some of the wretched Democrats who followed me the past month and happily engage in genocide denial or fantasize about a larger Trump-backed genocide which they think washes the blood off of Democrats hands. Scum.

unrelatedly, one year before i was allowed to vote, ontario’s proportional representation referendum failed. i remember learning about it in civics class, looking at my local district, and realizing that it was the only thing that would ever make my vote matter

AND THERE'S A MARAUDER HORSEMAN IN THERE THAT YOU KINDA HAVE TO LET EMPTY IT'S AMMUNITIONS ONTO YOU BECAUSE YOU CAN'T CATCH IT AND YOUR ARTILLERY PIECE DOES EXTREMELY UNDERWHELMING DAMAGE TO IT

also one of the only lord who's first battle is against a walled settlement, starting with a wizard with no blasts, with an artillery piece that's bad at destroying walls, and Kroxigor struggle to hit walls. and his replenishement is dogshit so unless you ace it you're spending 3 turns doing jack

i get that kroxigor are supposed to be on the low end of agility for monstrous infantry. but having a bad turn radius means they can barely catch up to infantry going in a straight line because THE MODELS IN A SINGLE UNIT TRIP OVER EACHOTHER
comment in response to post
like come on, Kroxigors and nakai have way worse pathfinding issues than ogres, trolls and other monstrous infantry. WHY? why do kroxigors freeze in place and can't turn around to save their lives while trolls will do a fucking U turn with an attack without losing any speed?

If you are alive, you will grow older. The strength and limberness of your muscles, the clarity of your vision- all will fade along with your youth. Your bones will become brittle. Your old injuries, long since scarred over, will ache. This process can be managed, but never stopped or reversed.

yeah, we aren't going to go far if we stop thinking critically and have to endorse everything misogynists hate. even with exemples of widely shat on things like Twilight/50shades, where a lot of the attacks are based on mysoginy... there's also a lot that's genuinely fucking bad about them.

"it's rebranded misoginy" is a new one. Like, the people i've seen complain about "cozy" have pretty specific grievances. Like whitewashing the racist logic of dnd and it's ilk, using the aesthetic of Ghibli in the shallowest way possible. also i think most of what i've read on that was by women

the fucking mental gymnastics. the inhumanity. it drives me crazy. like this is absolutely what the US is! this isn't different from how it usually operates, it's just more blatant
comment in response to post
Patriotism is a fucking disease. like "still proud of the country that's been commiting atrocities non-stop for the last century, not the atrocities, the country, which is somehow differentand unrelated to any atrocities it commits".

The democrat's money, institutionnal and media support, the people they have in power, means there's no room for anything to grow on the left. that and they wield that power to prevent it. old parties are often tumors on social democracy if they reach a certain level of intertwinning with the state
comment in response to post
yeah, in theory a party should exist to push it's ideas, but a lot of old parties carry power not because people support them but because being supported at some point gave them enough political capital that they can continue having power even if no one likes them anymore

In a lot of ways I feel AD would've been much stronger without the shoehorned-in romance, it'd have been about a medical genius who just wants people to leave her alone but who keeps getting summoned to solve palace problems.

this is basically "Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect." all of them are regressive clowns with no leftist, emancipatory, liberatory politics at all.

Also, the attacks used to divide from that era are variations on the same attacks used today. Criticisms of "divisiveness" and "separatism" from projects of national liberation to keep folks from asking real questions of power and demanding real changes in return.

All cops are bastards because they will either uphold this system or, in trying to resist it, be chewed up and spat out by it. Every cop on the force is either directly or indirectly complicit in the execution of injustice. It is, by definition, their job. All Cops. Are Bastards.

I’m simplifying, of course. There are laws created by Benevolent Governments that are also harmful, and the thing is that those are enforced by the violence-arm of the state. It is a cop’s job to uphold laws we have all seen can be bought, and their tool to respond to dissent with is violence.
