Yes. Fossil fuel companies make more profit from oil than renewables. So they invest 95% in Oil and only 5% in renewables to maximise profit for shareholders. We need a carbon tax that puts a spanner in this engine or it will drive us to destruction. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Write to local newspapers, (often read by elderly conservatives who VOTE) to debunk ReformUK ideology on Brexit, science denial, cost of Net Zero, scapegoating of immigrants as cause of housing shortage & NHS & school shortages. Point to ‘DeformUK’ fossil fuel funding and billionaire backing etc.
