They need him to be a genius because they cannot handle what it means for them to be tricked by a fool.

A technology that can solve otherwise unsolvable complexity in science and it's used to generate spam instead. The economic system that we live in is inherently crap.

The pop sometimes ejects things like frozen waffles from the toaster. The thing about the sensor is that it's not profitable to make additions like that in economies of scale and market competition. Literally, it's worse b/c capitalism.

I do worry about anything being said on NPR because the media is downplaying this worse than COVID. It's infuriating.

Education is the way we stop this nightmare

Disinformation is easy, the truth is hard. We're going to need to start doing things like posters, flyers, and local group teach-ins

I also miss them! And, Discord forums are so ephemeral, they just evaporate if anything happens to the server or you leave it. I also miss the searchability of forums. It used to be easy to find stuff, now the top 3 pages of search results are all paid or SEO-hacked to the point of uselessness

Honestly just glad that people figured it out, it only took the better part of a century. I can deal with the people saying "cruelty is the point" for a little while longer until it's thoroughly drilled into everyone's head which sadly it doesn't yet seem to be (anecdotal). I sigh. Life moves on.

The copy place has security features & tracks your phone when you enter + prints tracking codes Printers manufactured before 1996 do not have this feature There are other imaging techniques as well. Screen printing comes to mind (cheap!) Stencils can allow you to print signs quickly Be creative

If that all seems reasonable, great. Now what? You should try to avoid things going sideways but you need to be ready if they do: - Set up legal counsel *before* you go out - Sharpie your lawyer's number onto your stomach (not your arm) - Bring water & milk (teargas) - lock phone WITHOUT i-Cloud
